2011 Korean Cultural Centre Students’ Art Prize

The 2011 Korean Cultural Centre Students’ Art Prize, part of the Thames Festival, is now open for entries.

The Korean Cultural Centre Art Prize for students is open to primary, secondary schools’ students up to the age of 18 from around the world.

Students are invited to submit their own artworks under the theme of the river and nature to represent the beauty of rivers and the importance of our ecosystem.

We believe that it is an invaluable way of encouraging students to appreciate nature through creating artworks.

The selected artworks will be exhibited at the Korean Cultural Centre with the aim of increasing interest in, and the appreciation of, the river and its environment during the Thames Festival. Certificates and prizes will be awarded to selected students.

The deadline for entries is 5pm Friday 2 September 2011.

Who are we looking for
– Children’s part : age between 8 to12
– Teenagers’ part : age between 13 to17

Required Genre
– Painting (All materials welcome)
– Size: A3 size(297mm x 420mm)
