2012 Nihongo Cup – the Japanese Speech Contest for Secondary School Students

Date: 7 February 2012 – 31 March 2012

Entries are now being accepted for Nihongo Cup, the Japanese Speech Contest for Secondary Schools.

This year’s categories are:KS3: Write a 2-3 minute speech on the theme “Inspired by London 2012″KS4 & KS5 Pre GCSE Learners: Write a 3-4 minute speech on a theme of your own choice.KS4 & KS5 Post GCSE Learners: Write a 4-5 minute speech on a theme of your own choice.First prize winner in the post-GCSE category will be given thechance to visit Japan with JSA (the Japanese Speech Awards).First prize winner in the post-GCSE category will be given thechance to visit Japan with JSA (the Japanese Speech Awards).This event is organised by the Japanese Language Committee of the Association for Language Learning.Deadline for Applications: March 31st 2012
