Over three days of events, we will look at the introduction, formalisation, and evolution of East Asian materials and techniques that have become part of paper conservation practice across the globe.

On 8 April we are offering a range of studio tours across London, granting access to the conservation studios of some of the world’s leading collections, followed by a free evening drinks reception at The Foundling Museum in Brunswick Square.

We also have a range of additional post-conference workshops on related themes, including Japanese conservation methods partly subsidised by our conference sponsors, the Clare Hampson Fund, running on 11 – 14 April.
