Tomohiro Sasaki is a theatre director and former video game planner / scenario writer, with particular expertise in character design.

In a special two-day Japanese Plus course, Sasaki will offer advanced Japanese language learners the opportunity to uncover the true essence of Japanese culture while practicing their Japanese by learning about characters in Japanese games. By looking at example characters from popular video games including Final Fantasy and Street Fighter and analysing their concepts and backgrounds, you can discover the secret to creating an appealing character. You will even have the chance to combine your character design and Japanese language skills to create a character of your very own!

Dates: Tuesday February 11th & Wednesday February 12th 2014  Time: 18:30-20:30
Venue: The Japan Foundation London       Participation Fee: £10.00 for both sessions. Prior booking is essential.
This course will be held in Japanese. It is for non-native speakers of advanced Japanese (approx. JLPT N2 – N1).
