Raindance Film Festival
Raindance Film Festival is Europe’s leading independent film festival, supporting independent films and filmmakers from the UK and around the world. This year’s Way Out East section, a strand dedicated to Japanese cinema, is expected to be the largest ever. The strand will feature a wide selection of Japanese films, including Satoko Yokohama’s short films Jump from the Midnight, The Granny Girl and A Girl in the Apple Farm and even more, as well as inviting independent and emerging directors from Japan. The full line-up will be announced on the Raindance Film Festival website on 3 September 2013, and will appear here shortly after.
